On Wednesday, April 24th, BSC classes from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. have been cancelled to honor the legacy of the Marti Turnipseed. As a student during the Civil Rights Movement, she defied the BSC administration and participated in a lunch counter sit-in which resulted in her dismissal from the school.
